I took it to a shop by my house (recommended by a friend that owns a shop that works on my suburban) to get the timing and dwell set (I don't have the tools right now). He did the work for me for FREE! Is that cool or what? Running pretty good. Idle still seems a little rough but maybe it's just me not used to a VW 4 cyl. I have decided to replace the body this week. ours is just too far gone in the rust department. You will be happy to know that the new body is completely stock. My daughter wants to keep it lowered for now though. I do plan to raise it up a notch or 2 to get more travel in the suspension. I will post pictures this weekend.
