My impression was that there was generally heavy bidding late in '03  
('tis the season to spend money and buy gifts, I guess?), and then  
things got a little bit quieter overall in January.  Who knows.  (I  
also saw a tandem bike with an original $1,100 buy-it-now that went for  
$1,500. Gotta love ebay!)
