I agree, when I first saw this tool in the shop manuals I thought it would make it so much easier to lower a car evenly. Being as they sag not only front and rear, but left and right also, it created more headaches than it was worth (for lowering). I had to stay with the trial and error method. Once I started driving my fasty, I think I did the front something like 12 times to get it to sit exactly where I wanted it to.
