I have had 2 now, the one that was in there, worked for quite awhile, and then the replacement one was junk. Right this minute there isn't anything on the market to upgrade *TO*. The DDB has been busy developing an alternator kit for our cars, but it's still a few weeks out from being available. If you need the car fixed fast, your best bet is to put another voltage regulator in it. But, has the car been going through voltage regulators?
