I went thru a process many years ago, trying to get mine replaced. The story that I kept getting from the glass people was that VW kept giving them a beetle part. I'll check tonight to see whether this glass has a 311 part #. I'd be reluctant to remove a good glass from the frame. I think it can be difficult to get it back in correctly AND tight. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
