I just got back from the Mt Equinox hillclimb, and since this year we actually had a dry weekend I took the Notch. Boy what fun! I wasnt able to officially race but I still got it up there in less that 8.5 minutes for the 5.2 mile course. Ya really need a 5 spd for this kind of thing but it still ran great. There is a distinct advantage to having suspension travel when you hammer it over the rough areas in the road. The oil pressure seems adequate but it definately isnt what it would be without the Full Flow. One thing did really irritate me... after going through a half dozen or so brake light switches before realizing that they arent compatable with DOT5, I finally installed a mechanical one. This switch was a nice 15 amp microwave oven door switch. Guess what? It Died! I think Ive had no brake lights more often than Ive had them, and if I didnt have the cruise Id never know that they quit! What next? I have a huge knife switch... wont look pretty but it will be under the pedal cover... and THAT wont break!!
