ALL the FI lines should be changed every 10 years, sooner if you use the
braided OE type hose.  Yes, if your careful you can grind away the crimp
shroud that holds the rubber hose to the injector and remove it, just be
careful not to get shavings in the injector or go through the hose and knick
the Knipple.
