> meet I've seen yet. I think we all scored some good stuff. I noticed Greg > had some fan shrouds. I finally found a one piece fiberglass Type 3 front Ok... since you asked... :) Well, let's see... for about the cost of an ISP West filler neck overflow hose & shipping, I got: o an NOS filler neck overflow hose o a 311-numbered black Bosch coil o a used f.i. fuel filter o a used (but great shape) black Wolfsburg front rubber mat o entrance to the show, camping fee, and show fee That last bullet was $40 -- ouch -- at least the parts made up for it! Other finds included a fan shroud with flaps, bell crank, horizontal rod, descending rod, (dead) thermostat and bracket; speedo cluster for my '70 Bus; a golden Beetle, hotwheel size, with a clock on top; and a neat little collection of f.i. and AT training and diagnostics literature. I intend to make some scans to share. All this second bunch of stuff -- plus Little Debbie honey buns and a couple of gallons of water from the Walmart in Vacaville -- set me back two Andrew Jacksons with some change left over. Oh! and three f.i. distributors in various states of repair for five bucks. Almost forgot. Definitely a very large swap meet this time. Not as comfy as browsing ebay or thesamba from your living room, but waaay cheaper and plenty of fun. -Greg p.s.: it was too dang hot (at least for this Bay Boy) in Sacramento. :-o ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
