Have I put it together wrong or am I missing something? It looks to me like everything is there and put together right, but I've never seen the dual carb version of this before. If that little cylinder rides up, then it may mean that the arm or the assembly is bent slightly putting the axis of that hole just a bit off vertical. I wouldn't think that this would actually cause any problems, unless the end of the cable bound up against the lever instead of pivoting smoothly. You might just want to check that the cable comes in perpendicular to the axis of the hole, and put a little grease on that barrel so that it is free to rotate in the hole. I don't think any of this will affect the switch adjustment. BTW, looks like you found a nice spring for your assembly. ;-) -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Shameless link for search engines: http://listarchive.type3.org ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
