Thank. Considering this is the original motor with 87k on it. I think I will wait untill a total rebuild. Is there another method of filtering the oil that is suficiant that will not damage the motor due to either bad flow or pressure? I bought the blue coil based on advertisement, doesn't surprise me. Luckily I bought a red one. They do need changing every 15-20K or so but that is easy. the aftermarket Pertronix and such have quality control issues, and many Fail in a couple years. Also should I use original Bosch > plug wires and plugs? I like the Bosch plugs... and just use standard copper core wires with the original ends if you still have them. I have a Bosch blue coil. Is that a good choice? No, Junk! The original Black ones last forever and give more than adequate spark. Also > I want to go with a full flow oilsystem with a filter. You still have plenty with a new engine but there is a point when you may very well need to take it off so that you will have adequate oil pressure with an older engine at an idle when its fully warmed up.
