Oh this is nice to see! The only reason a pan ever rusts out is because the car leaks, and if it leaks in a Salty environ the pan can look like this rather quickly. Sights like this were commonplace here in the salt belt. But... often this is all thats rusted out on the car... so some effort such as Toby's and youve got yourself a nice solid car again. The only thing to make sure of is that the seat mounts are still structurally sound, the outboard ones can be suspect.
