I have to agree with Brian on this. The auto makers are pushing 100,000 miles
before tune ups, 7 to 10 year or 70,000 to 100,000 miles before outerbody
rust thru, and things like that. Granted the prices of todays cars have sky
rocketed out of normal peoples reaches, but they seem to be selling most of what
they build. Todays car are being built to last, but in my opinion they have too
much plastic in them,and the steel that is there is very thin. So I prefer my
older type3s. : ) I like the fact that I can actually work on them without
needing a lap top computer, and I get cool "retro styling" in the same package. :
