I haven't checked the lower brush since I put in the new ones, maybe they
are wearing equally now. I'll remove the generator and check the lower
brush to see if it's wearing the same as the upper.
If it is, then I'll assume that there are bits of abrasive left behind
eating the brushes. If this is the case, how would you recommend cleaning
these off the commutator?
