Many here will describe how to replace that hose and keep the injectors. It's a fiddly job, but not real difficult. It sounds like you've been getting some advice from someone. My best advice for you is to share your challenges with this list and gather info before making decisions that could wind up more expensive and less effective than you might expect. Lots of people have been in your exact position before, and there is no better resource in the world for info on Type 3s than this group.
