My question is---would I be > better off with a new case, or a good used one? I don't know if the new replacement cases are even available with the features that you need for a type 3. I have always used, and been completely satisfied with good, used type 3 cases. I let RIMCO align-bore them and add case savers and they seem fine. I get OE mileage out of them, and have never been disappointed. I have good used type 3 cases here, too, both AT and MT. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
