I found while cleaning my floor pans for paint, that my clutch pedal was cracked, a very wise listee recommended I remove to inspect for more cracks before welding it in place(as this was a common problem). sure enough it looked as if though it would break at the base any day (the day when your furthest from home). Although you could not tell at all when driving the car the clutch seemed fine. Also i found at the clutch cable arm was like an oblong shape, I assumed it once was more circular so a spot weld was shot there and reshaped. I cleaned her all up primed and painted it. I will be reinstalling the assembly tomarrow, is there any tricks I should be aware of on the installation of the clutch cable arms connection to the cable itself? By the way it appears changing the throttle cable would be a bear, let alone the clutch cable..
