Well Martin and I hooked up on Thursday as he arrived. He brought my trailor down from the Pacific North West to SoCal. I showed him the local VW hoarder down here then we shot off to my house to unload the new toy. We jibberjabbered for a bit, showed him the fleet then he was off again. Many thanks Martin, drinks on me at the 2004 Classic! Here are some shots of the trailor with the notch. It looks like Ill have to move the tail pipe over 3 in to make it all fit. If I dont then the left side mount will have to go around the pipe and below it. This would also cause a forward rake to the trailor which is unacceptable. The trailor is overall in great shape. It even has the original tire thats in excelent shape! Original because it says Allstate on it. I plan to modify the car, restore the trailor then drive it around. Oh I found my black and gold trailor Cali plate to register it with and its als got a plate on the back with Washington reg. info on it.
