Hm -- I checked examples (really!) and swore I saw the reverse. I will double-check. Googlebot actually hasn't hit it yet (at least as of this morning), so it hasn't seen the robots.txt file. The archives are on a slow connection, so I don't want loads of spiders all the time -- I'm wanting to just have google, and then make a search w/ a site: limit for folks to use.
