That was a problem that was rectified by a new gauge.Liquid filled gauge is steady and shows what is,I assume, the the true reading. Pressure, right now,is 35psi. > If you've changed things, like the injectors, 0 280 150 007 > MPS, stock 022 906 051a > etc, then you're on your > own, unless you can tell us specific facts about the new parts vs the old ones. The new harness was obtained on Ebay.I used one that did not include any cold start connectors. The connections match the scematics I had exactly.(my god,it's nice to have legible #'s) All that was adjusted was the MPS and fuel pressure.Took it out for a quick run to the gas station tonight. Cold out but I think that even without a temp gauge on the oil,it seems a smidgen warm. The MPS adjustment ended up being perhaps one half to 3/4 of a turn outwards. But the horn ain't workin' 8^] David V.N rmcevoy1@NOSPAMtwcny.rr.com Remove NOSPAM to reply ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
