I don't think the wires are crossed, since this problem started occurring in
the absence of me making any changes to the engine. The car worked fine on
Friday when I drove home from work. I didn't do anything to the car until I
drove it again on Sunday, which is when I observed the loss of power.
However, I will definitely re-check the wiring tonight when I get home, just
to be sure. I'll also check the connections to the plugs, and I'll confirm
that the spark is getting all the way to the end of the plug wires where
they attach to the plugs.
