Which part of NZ are they coming to? I don't know how much luck they 
will have finding an Aussie Type 3 badge as I have only ever seen 1 
Aussie Type 3 down here, most of them are German ones. There are also 
some nice Type 3's for sale at the moment, but they might not fit in a 
suitcase to well ;-)

There is a VW wreckers yard just outside of Hamilton that is worth a 
visit and also one in Rotorua. There are also a few in Auckland. If 
they are coming to Auckland, direct them to our club webpage at 
http://www.nzvwoc.org.nz - they might like to come along to a club 
meeting or an event.

Any second hand parts they do find down here will most likely be very 
cheap compared to what you usually pay in the US with the exchange rate 
factored in. At the moment it is approx US$0.60 = NZ$1.
