Re: [T3] running on 2 cylinders

I do see gas squirting straight down the throat of the carb.

You possibly have a plugged needle valve on that carb. You could also
have a plugged main jet.

Is this still possible, or does the gas squirting from the accelerator pump nozzle rule out a fuel deliver problem?

Also, I checked for a vacuum leak as Russ advised on his next post. I ran the engine with the aircleaner off, and observed the carbs as I revved the engine. The choke flap was completely closed on the left side carb at idle, but when I revved the engine, it opened, and I heard the sucking sound, so it seems that there is some vacuum there. Is this a sufficient test, or should I investigate the vacuum leak angle further?

Some additional info - this is a 68 notchback from Germany. I believe the carbs are stock. The writing on the side of the carbs says:

Solex 32PDSIT-2 (left side) and
Solex 32PDSIT-3 (right side)
