There is a jig they put them on I believe and a machine with lots of small hammers or something that pounds them back out. My rear was flattened almost to the rear apron and I sent it to Bill & Steves and for $200 they straightened and rechromed it. I will note however... their chrome job was crap, it didnt look nice and shiney for too long... If I had to do it again Id send it to one of the restoration specialists that does bumpers.
