Thanks, I never knew the name or the history. John was right about the Greenbriar name, too. We had a family friend with one of those. It's clear that VW was more successful with all of these than Chevy was. I suspect that this was as much due to corporate karma than anything else:VW people were into small cars and good gas mileage, while Chevy people were into cast iron, drag strips, and smoking tires.
