I'd just combine a loud switched internal siren with the pulled relay plug. Put the switch for the siren under the dash where no one would ever see it normally, and then just leave it off. If you wanted to get fancy you could add a circuit that would keep the siren on for 15 seconds once it's been tripped. Oh, and MAKE SURE that the switch was not in a place that you might bump accidentally. That way you just plug and unplug the relay, but a thief would flip the switch and get driven out of the car by the noise. I wouldn't worry about hearing the siren outside; the door will be open anyway. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
