The split needs to be to the rear, and the axle tube needs to be at a 90
degree angle to the trans. Also, the boot should not be under any stress
when installed. This way the boot can do its job without pulling.
Also, don't overfill the trans.with grease. The boot should only be
containing splash oil, not the oil level.
