Hey folks
last post was not intended to offend hope none of you were. Ive just heard countless rants and raves on people with 009's who just get tired of blowing up condensers and replacing points so frequently.whether it be at the local vw shops or what now. Ive just been happy with my OO9 cuase about the only thing ive had to do is slap some grease on the point cam and check the gap just to make sure its fine... and ive never had to adjust... im sure that will quickly change now that ive gone to a Flamethrower coil... but we'll see
As anyone can see Im a Darksider (ducks the oncoming bricks) My 69 fasty has a 1915cc with dual dellorto's, and a mild cam for a 1915cc. it has Honda "ricer" aftermarket rims.. I got them becuase they were cheap and they looked like a style of porsche rims that ill eventually get. the doors have been changed to early doors (pushbutton) becuase i hate to trigger type (broken 4 dang trigger handles) and donoald is lowered 3 in the front and 2 in the rear... since the new motor it has leveled out like the front.. (maybe cuase of all that new full flow crap, yes i had to modify the fan shroud...i did it right... and maybe ill be able to produce new fan shrouds with this built in... pray for it darksiders
At this point i want to stiffen the suspension, so he rides more like a porsche instead of more like a type3 (ducks the bricks again) if anyone can help... let me know cuase im half tempted to pull sway bars off chevy's .... (ducks again)
