You might be able to get the right bolt and washers to go with it from the same
place that you got the "handle" from.

M8 x 1.25 x 95, and the washers are somewhat special. There is a standard
lockwasher and then a very large heavy washer.

This bolt passes cleanly thru the fan housing and into the breather stand. The
threads in the breather stand are helicoiled from the factory, so they should
be fine.

In spite of the fact that this bolt seems to do nothing on the late cars, you
will note that this is the single largest fastener holding the fan housing
secure to the case. For this reason alone, it's important. It's also invaluable
when installing or just moving around the engine.

These often get left off by people who have not yet had to deal with a fan
housing that has come loose. If you add this bolt after the fact, you should
loosen up the 4 bolts that secure the breather stand to the case so that
everything can be tightened up together without stress on anything.

I have these bolts and washers if you just want to get the proper parts from me
with your next order. There WILL be a next order, won't there? ;-)
