I finally stumbled onto the receipt I needed to pin down my exact Invasion mileage. It was 2114 trouble-free miles at 23.35 mi/gal. Yes Tom, I took the scenic route. ;-) I still smell gas when I've been driving, so I think I need to check the hoses around the fuel pump. I'll bet that some of them are leaky and that my gas mileage could have been better if I had fixed them sooner. i'll let you all know what I find. We had one of our local Bug-Ins here today, so I took my Invasion prize winning square to it.
