I'd be interested to know that, because my car was manufactured in late 
'68. I've no idea of course whether my torque converter (or tranny) is 
original.

I'm not totally sure whether the leak is actually ccoming from the 
torque converter. I could see that the ATF was dripping down the outside 
of it and onto the floor, but the source of the leak could conceivably 
be somewhere else.
