The shop manuals all suggest using shop compressed air for this job, but I
always found this to be too dangerous and scary. Doing it with water takes all
the "thrill" out of it. ;-)

Have you got any tips about removing stuck pistons from brake calipers? I am about to give this a go on one of my (non-VW) cars, and don't want to wreck anything in the process.
