[T3] Voltage Drop Question

<x-flowed>Fired Sophy tonite!!! First time she has run in a few months and the first time with 12V power. Most of the lights work and the clock and stuff....

but, i can't get the wipers to work with the voltage drop wired in. I suspect I have it in the wrong spot but don't want to screw something up. Here is the low down...

The wipers work if I hook 6V power to them direct without the voltage drop in the system. They also work (really fast) if I hook 12V to them direct without the voltage drop. Problem comes when I put the voltage drop in the circuit between my power source and the wiring for the wipers. I get nothing. I checked the voltage drop with my multimeter and it has continuity across it. It doesnt register any resistance. Shouldn't it? If so how much? My multimeter resistance scale is in 1000 of ohms.

Obviously electrical theory is not my strong suit. Help!!! Need to get her ready for the run to Hershey this week and I still need to finish wet sanding and buffing her and dong the final assembly.
