After looking at the ghost image more closely the first three numbers are 233, not 236 and what I thought was a 7 does look like a "/" not that I'm looking for it and the last two numbers are 26. So my "M" code is: M233/26, meaning VW 1600 TL IN SIMPLIFIED VERSION/ACTIVATED CARBON CONTAINER FOR ABSORBING FUEL VAPOUR According to the the chart, these codes are not designated for my model 365, but that is what they are.
