Re: [T3] cold start behavior


The voltage issue - good idea.  This would possibly describe/identify something else I've observed since only owning this car from 1 month.

It gets about 200 miles to a full tank of gas - roughly 20 mpg.  seems lower than what everyone says they get out of their cars.  Exhaust smells rich on my car all the time.

Strange thing is that all this rough idle came about after all the tune up.

One last thing:  Brand new dist cap - however when I pulled it to check for moisture it looks like crap inside - the contacts all look very abused, more like what i'd expect to see from an old one - not a clean new one out of the box.  Just installed it 2 days ago.

Anyway - I have much to learn...better get back at it!
