Hi all,

While inspecting my brakes during the weekend I found out that my steering
coupler is ripped/cracked on the lower part (where the lower screw holds on
to).  If my understanding is correct, if it were to break in half and
crumble away, I would be driving with no steering, correct?  If so, I
consider myself really lucky because this as probably broken for a few
months.

Does anybody know the part number for the steering coupler for my car
71 Notchback?  Is it the same as a beetle?
