<x-flowed>I agree w/Keith. Stock brakes are MORE than adequate! If you want
better braking then the first thing you do is get stickier tires,
period! Yeah, you may only get 20-30 thousand miles out of them instead
of 40+ but I know you will stop more quickly and, as a bonus, your
handling will improve as well (better tire-to-road grip). Next thing to
do is get better pads/shoes (more towards performance). Change your
brake fluid every two years (minimum!) and make sure the brake lines are
in good condition (for example, no bulging).
