If the cable itself is sticking, check the cable housing that the cable runs thru alongside the tranny. Make sure it is lined up with and properly fit into/onto the fittings at each end. You might want to pull the cable all the way out and lube it. It might just need to have some more slack adjusted into it at the back.Okay, if I need to pull the throttle cable out, is there anything I should do to make it easier to put it back in? I tried messing with the cam, but it was smooth and didn't seem to be catching on anything, and I've cleaned the throttle assembly again to make sure that there is nothing sticking there; would you suggest that I run the motor with the throttle cable removed, to see if it works properly then?
Thanks for the help; this was really starting to frustrate me.
