There were about 6 different brains for the US version of the type 3 FI over the 6 years of type 3 production. If you need a different one, I probably have one. 71 and 72 brains are different. 68-9 brains won't work properly in later years. What do you think is wrong with yours? They tend to be very reliable and seldom fail in any way.
