Re: uneven fenders out back

From: <eggmeg@netzero.com>
If the bars are pulled out of the inner splines, it won't matter how many
"notches" you turn them down on the outside. The two sides wont match.

Ok I'm interested on this now since I just raised the rear of my Fasty. When
I took off the four bolts and cover plates only the outer cover, bushing
came out. The torsion bar stayed in it's inner splines as far as I know.
>From experience on heavy equipment suspension systems with torsion arm I
remember there were two different aligning marks. On the inside piece there
was a "Blind" spline and on the outer end there was a line or arrow pointing
you were suppost to align depending on the model of equipment you were
working on. Is this the same on T3?
I put the rear tires back on my Fasty last night and they look like this
/-*-\. I still have the engine on the ground and since I got a citation to
pick up my mess (GOV HOUSING) I will be burning the midnight oil this
weekend to finish it and get it back on the road.
