Re: [T3] MPS update


The PO father,who is now deceased,as I understand it,was the original
owner.I believe he originally restaored it to it's present condition.I am
assuming he was without the Bentley or Muir manuals.His son had no
other information besides that.I knew nothing about VW aircooled engines
previous to this one.Most of the knowledge I have about auto repair I've
gleaned
by working on GM engines with a sprinkling of Mopar and Ford thrown in.
This car is a one hell of a learning experience,I can tell you!I have worked
on a Audi 5000
 that belonged to my sister and susequently cursed German engineers that
designed
that POS but "Heather" is a different animal altogether.

MPS

No,I've never seen it referred to as such in any reading either but old
habits die hard......

I have previosly noticed this to be true It has been hooked up.

With the installed Monza exhaust,I can't hear much of anything with the
accel. floored.

No idling present==just billowing,choking clouds.If I can get it to idle at
some future date
,I will check for this.
