I was too freaked. I remembered last night that the 4000RPM note was from Aircooled.Net's article on breaking in a new engine, and not from the wilson book (all my reading seems to have combined over the last few months). That article says to rev the engine between 2500-4000RPM for fifteen minutes. It actually also infers that the fact it *isn't* under a load is a *good* thing: "Now, this is a nerve-racking experience to have the engine (it sure seems loud!) at these rpm levels when it's NEW, but if everything is OK, it's going to be fine. Remember that this engine is not even under a load, so it's not a big deal." ===== __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
