No need for the extra letters in the USA, they were always the top spec trim,
not like the downgraded models sold to the paupers of the World.  I guess since
quantity production brings costs down, us paupers have a lot to thank the USA
market for, though I think the prices charged in the USA were actually lower
than in the UK, even though USA cars were higher spec.  Actually, I think most
places got the cars cheaper than we did, though prices are now more in line with
the rest of Europe after anti-price fixing legislation in the Europe parliament.
