I'd suggest contacting an auto glass shop and see if they can sell you a tube of an appropriate caulking material that you could use all around the outside edge of the seal. There will probably be a different caulk depending on whether the leak is between the seal and the body or the seal and the glass. Whichever it is, you really want to seal it ALL THE WAY AROUND. AT least for the gap between the seal and the body, you can lift the lip of the seal and put the caulk UNDER that lip, so the repair is almost invisible. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
