The trim must come out with the rubber and the glass; you can't take it out by itself. It is VERY soft, so it bends easily. Except for the windshield, to get the window out you must push very hard starting at one corner and just push it slowly out. Lay down in the car and push with your feet. Have someone else on the outside supporting the glass so it doesn't fall and break. Once everything is out you can remove the rubber from the glass and then the trim from the rubber. Be very careful here, because the rubber will want to sag and bend the trim. Use soap and water when putting it all back together to help things slide. Scrub the rubber clean before doing this. Reassemble in the reverse order. Simichrome paste may shine up the trim, but probably any metal polish would also work. Just be careful not to push hard enough on the trim to deform it. Use a heavy cord in the rubber groove to pull the inner lip over the lip in the body. You'll need a helper on the outside holding the glass while you carefully pull the rope out of the groove and the lip over into the interior. Work slowly and carefully to avoid cutting the rubber.
