The bell crank that I'm familiar with is the A version which is called out for all engines, but there are instructions to use that part plus to replace some other parts if you have an engine earlier than a particular number. Then there are 2 different versions of both the vertical and horizontal pushrods, for which you have to choose the single port version or the dual port version. It looks like the early one may have been different, with not so much strain on that 90 bend. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
