Re: [T3] I'm seeing spots!

<x-flowed>Was that true of all 65s or was there a mid-year change? My speedo is a 10-30-50-70-100 and is stamped 3/65 just like all the other parts on the car. It wasn't a gray market car, it's a tourist-delivery car set up for US specs at the factory.

Thats because its the CORRECT MPH original 1965 speedo!!
These 100MPH speedos were correct units that were sold with the car new in
MPH markets with dual carbs.
A great number of the grey market cars found in the US have had the
original KPH speedos changed out with the readily avail late grey market
gauges that have the dashes and not all the speeds in 10MPH incriments.

These are hard to find! My Notch and eggcrate have them, I know with the
Notch that it was installed when the car was one month old (from production
date) when the car was readied for shipment to the US (probably for a
military serviceman).
