Re: [T3] questions on tbi fuel injection?

<x-flowed>It has been discussed at some time in the past, so this is my 2 cents.
SDS looks like the least expensive EFI setup out there. http://www.sdsefi.com/
They show some aircooled information. No computer needed to use it. Check out the site.

Now if you feel froggy, and think you can solder and build a DYI EFI system checkout MEGASQUIRT
http://www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html
There are a number of these running on aircooled vw's, 914 Porsche's and alot of other engines too.
If you keep most of your stock hardware and wiring the Megasquirt could be done somewhat on the cheep side.

Not to start a war but I like FI, EFI, CIS and the like, over dual carbs... BUT each to his own.
Read, READ, read and ask questions till you think you have what will work for you.
D-Jet is good stuff, and lots of help here.

Sorry this isn't an answer, but I'll leave that to the
more qualified on the list. *My* question is, if
you're going stock engine, why not just try to locate
the parts you need to replace? Is it the harness
that's bad or some individual parts?
