<x-flowed>VOSA (Volkswagen Owners of San Antiono) is the main VW aircooled club, 
Club H2O Motorsports is the water cooled club.  Nice bunch of folks. 
VOSA has a yahoo group if I remember correctly, do a search and you 
should find them. They have a very nice Show in October (October Fest) 
in Boerne north of SA. I always try to make that.  SA is part of the 
Texas Hill Country, very nice.

Of course I live in South Texas, so I better like it. Yes it can get 
hot!!! We do have the Hurricane every now and then, but SA is inland 
enough that they rarely have anything to worry about that. Snow's 
sometimes, not much. It can Rain a lot and flood. NO earthquakes!!!!!  
Don't let the cowboy-redneck thing scare you. Most of them are 
drug-store cowboys anyway.

It is what you make of it. While everyone in the great northwest is 
shoveling snow, we are outside in shorts. And whille SA may not have 
MLB, Basketball is alive and well.
