I didn't expect that... So if we're buying OE-"style" new rims from any of these VW wheel suppliers, the 5.5" rim is actually a better fit than the 4.5" rim? So I guess the Type 3 OEM rims really are quite different from the 4.5" rims sold on all these websites? Even though they look exactly the same...
