Not necessarily: these pumps are rebuildable, and, as Jim noted, you may just need to retighten the body screws. The plastic domes turn brittle over time and usually crack and fall off, so you may have the pump you want already. While you're in there, take a close look at the pump for its part number. If it begins with 311, keep the pump and get it fixed. Type 3 pumps look the same as Type 1 pumps, but they are different in detail. I wouldn't recommend buying the Brosol (Brazilian, Type 1) pump unless you're desperate for a temporary replacement.
